Spanning the Divide IV.
In U.S. hospitals, pre-op procedure is structured and precise. It’s a safe bet that a stateside patient would not walk themselves into the operating room, as eleven-year-old Ken Piamonte did in Bogo. Seen here, Ken observes the nurse hanging his I.V. bag before hopping onto the surgery bed. There were no complaints about this informality from the child or his family, they were simply thankful for the care.
